Unfortunately not. People wanting the “right” to murder their own children are in too plentiful supply here.

The OB-GYN-GOP is coming to a doctor’s office near YOU, your girl-friends, wives and daughters. Luckily. No woman truly knows what’s best for her, the poor deluded thing. Luckily, the OB-GYN-GOP knows EXACTLY. Never, nothing and no no no. Sit down and be quiet, ladies. The GOP’s gonna cover you! Well, uncover. In the Free Market. You’ll be so-o-o-o happy.

So, given your sarcastic comments, you believe that killing babies is a solution to something. What, exactly? If killing babies is the solution, what was the question? Apparently it is: can women kill indiscriminately unborn life on a whim and go on conceiving more babies to kill? Apparently your lust for the power of death is equal to your ego. If you can’t support them, don’t breed them. If you don’t understand something THAT simple, you’re hopeless.

Mike31g, let’s ask them when they’re 20 if they wanted to not be born, okay?

So,you want to have your say and it should be questioned by no one? Typical liberalism. There is no longer any rule. Everyone gets to do whatever he or she wants with no repercussion.

The GOP does not try to limit access to birth control. I just don’t want to be forced into paying for someone else’s. if you can’t afford the baby, don’t have sex with another person.

Why shouldn’t a license be required to be a parent?

People so worried about every human life don’t seem to be bothered about the quality of those lives.

Every pro-life advocate should have a houseful of adapted special needs children.

Well said russell! It makes sense to begin whittling down the “virus on this planet” beginning with the unconscious foetus; next I suggest the brain dead among us. Russell would that be down syndrome children or MS sufferors or mentally ill or Jews or gypsies or homosexuals? Where do YOU stop?

Typical Republican mumbo-jumbo. You can’t kill them when they’re young, but the NRA thinks it’s okay to kill them after birth.

Why do anti-abortion fanatics always equate a 2- or 3- or 4-month old fetus with a living, BREATHING, baby? They are not babies, yet. And what about the 2-week embryo or 1-week blastula? Are these babies, too? This black-and-white, all-or-nothing gibberish is pathetic. Yes, abortion is unfortunate and sometimes tragic, but for some women it is necessary and must be allowed, even with some limitations. Abortion-on-demand is a myth in this country; there will always be restrictions, even though the process itself must be legal and obtainable when truly needed. Who are YOU to tell a woman who has been raped or is carrying a fetus with a genetic defect that she must carry that pregnancy to term? It’s none of your damn business.

Personal opinion; Late term abortion should be allowed only when the life of the mother is in jeopardy or the pregnancy is the result of rape, incest or the mother is too young, which would indicate that rape had indeed occurred.
Why are abortion opponents so determined to stop birth control too?

The vast majority of late-term abortions are due to severe medical issues, occasionally those of the mother but more often those of the fetus, which often cannot be detected until post-20 weeks. This includes deformities like anencephaly, harlequin-type ichthyosis, major heart defects or congenital disorders where major organs form outside the body. These are in most cases (or in anencephaly, all cases) non-survivable, but even where survivable may require extremely expensive and possibly life-long high levels of care.

To force a woman to carry these to term is not “humane” in any way. It’s more horrifying. Most of the women who have sought a post-20-week abortion have done so as a heart-breaking choice after discovering that a wanted pregnancy will only result in the baby dying a fast and painful death anyway; you can read about some of it at http://www.aheartbreakingchoice.com/.

A late abortion is not something that anyone does lightly. It’s painful, difficult and dangerous (although often, not so dangerous as birth, when it is done in a safe and regulated setting). The people who seem to think that the women who get one are ignorant sluts who use it for birth control, are hateful know-nothings; you should be ashamed to be so far from reality.

To make this inaccessible to women will not save lives. It may break them.
