    the way it’s designed, I fear the trebuchet will drop the kid on top of Lio…

    Unless that arm is a lot longer than it looks, any catapult riders would get thrown against that arm-stop at the top.

    Don’t underestimate Lio’s skills with New-Style Rapid Transit! I’d be willing to bet he’s studied with Dill’s brothers!

    But you can’t underestimate Lio’s understanding of his customer base. What kid wants to get to school faster?

    Only 10 cents? I’d charge more as you are not likely to get any complaints – from customers at least.

    I don’t mind the flight.

    Lio must have been reading last week’s Pooch Cafe!

    If you look closely you’ll see a label that reads: “Manufactured by Acme Products. Inspected by Wile E, Coyote”

    Knowing Lio as well as I do, I’d go for it.

    Hard to believe that the same author of “Heart in the City” is the same sicko (in a good way) mind that does Lio.

    @Bilan

    THANK you—the place to set that up is in the schoolyard after school!

    This idea was used in a recent Close to Home, except it was for launching students’ forgotten items instead of students themselves. http://www.gocomics.com/closetohome/2012/09/27
