Out of curiosity, can someone of the other Commonwealth countries be prime minister of Canada or the Commonwealth countries? Like a Canadian in the Australian Prime Ministry for example.

As far as I know the Canadian PM just has to be of voting age and be a Canadian citizen. Our first PM (Sir John A. Macdonald) was born in Scotland..

    But…but…Canada’s not really a foreign country like Hawai’i. Because…Obama.

He has dual citizenship, an accident of birth or bad timing on his Mom’s part. So what?

Well, right, he was born in a foreign country, but his mom was unquestionably a US citizen. Which is the exact situation tea partiers have been attempting to ascribe to President Obama to claim he is illegitimate. Even in their lie, the point they’re making is moot. But, to be consistent, people who pretend Obama is illegitimate based on “accident of birth or bad timing on his Mom’s part” must refuse to support Cruz on the same grounds, or face their own hypocrisy.

None of the political stuff I’ve received from the Tea Party ever talked about Pres Obama’s birth place. The focus was always on smaller Government and lower taxes. Bill O’Reilly checked out the Birther story and proclaimed it BS. Mr Cruz, as Pres Obama, is a US citizen. There are idiots on both sides. That’s why my question, “So What?”

So it will be interesting to see them support the person they like and not the person they hate.

I’m guessing the Tea Party you refer to is the one that actually sits down for tea & crumpets. There is no “official” Tea Party, but the birthers by & large were part of the Tea Party movement.

There is a group that does mailings nation wide. I don’t know where you got your graphics but until you can show me a verified source, it’s just cheap gossip.
