Just like Andy Griffith and Alex Karras, she was not on the televised segment, but is on the website.

Larry Hagman also was snubbed by the Academy. What does 1 have to do to get any recognition for a lifetime of film work ?

Go to IMbd and look up her body of work. Compare it to other deceased actors and actresses and you will see why. Just being in a minority or small minority of the population does not entitle you to special treatment.

Perhaps they’ll be included in the “In Memoriam” segment on the Emmys, since the actors who’ve passed are more familiarly associated with television rather than movies.

Her body of work was fairly substantial, joe. And it wasn’t a matter of “special” treatment,as there were white performers who were omitted as well.
