Drowned in WWI gathering intelligence on enemy troop positions. Staff Sgt. Macario Garcia, born in Villa de Castano, Mexico. In WWII he fiercely and single-handedly wiped out two Nazi machine-gun emplacements. Pfc. Alejandro Renteria Ruiz, born in Loving, New Mexico.
