    I wonder why this one is called the queen of puddings, David. Any historical explanation for it?

    some recipes have been named after actual monarchs (Victoria Sponge) but this, I think, because it was considered ‘fit for a queen’…at least, that’s what I found on Google!

    Again, could we please be consistent with measurements? English and metric in the same recipe? Sheesh!!

    Thanks for the observation…I recently changed from imperial (see earlier strips) as this is easier in this format. These are all legit and correct and standard for UK recipes (and metric!)…I could give alternatives but space is precious
