Not just a recipe cartoon, Kitchen Capers has a little comic treat running through its soft centre. Ken is a chef and Clover a cartoonist. Follow their adventures as he tries to teach her a few home economics and she tries to teach him a few home truths.

Uh, David, you do know that reading this is optional.

This seems promising, but I sure hope they don’t take Cheap Thrills Cuisine off. Those recipes are much better.

The art is great and I wish David Banks success. I know how hard it is to get a break like this. I really hope his strip succeeds. I also want to request a recipe for Oatmeal Butterfinger Crunch Brownies.

OK start but the strip header is all green and at first I thought of green, rotten food and stinky fish

Kafka, I’ll give this a chance, BUT I AGREE WITH YOU, I SURE HOPE THEY DON’T DROP CHEAP CUISINE!

colors need to be added to the food so it doesn’t look rotten.. just my 2 cents. added it to my comics page so I can follow it for a bit.

It you wanna keep it monochromatic, use blue instead of green. If you wanna go monochromagma, use cavemen and dinosaur meat… and a pterodactyl egg.

Glad to have another recipe cartoon , but Cheap Thrills Cuisine is the best. Cheap Thrills had a receipe book collection of the cartoon recipes and I was able to get one!! Let’s see how this one goes.

The green banner is what got my attention! I don’t usually notice what’s up there! It’s a drawing, people! It certainly didn’t look like rotten food. My Gosh!
Recipe is interesting, and I’ll actually probably try it, since I love rice and really love sausage. I think there’s plenty of room here for two food-related strips. I’ve added this to my line-up. Food is everyone’s common denominator! You can’t have too many recipes!!
Good luck!!

@StelBel
Thanks StelBel…definitely room for two food strips, I hope, and I’m certainly not trying to compete with the excellent Cheap Thrills. Hope you enjoy!
