I always viewed the Portuguese Water dog as a work dog and a little funky because of their webbed paws. My cousins in Nazaré had a few which played on the beaches and in the surf in front of their small hotel. That they have become these pampered poodle pooches is astonishing! And now one has made it all the way into the White House! But not São Bento. It’s a national disgrace. :p
