Since you ask so politely, I’ll oblige.

The only definition of ‘global warming’ that a reasonable person accepts is that every winter is warmer than the preceding summer, and this is so clearly false that every reasonable person rules out global warming.

Of course, if one takes all the official temperatures reported from all over the world and takes the average for each of the last 100 years, and then does a regression on the averages, one finds that…

one is dealing with the devil, since taking averages and regressions is math, and only evil doers ever do any math.

So all us deity-fearing people will reject global warming as dim lib nonsense as long as summers are warmer than winters.

In my home town in Southern Miss, it snowed once in 1964. It was a two hour flurry, nothing stuck to the ground, bridges or roads, and visibility was never an issue. There have been several events of that nature since then. Last week, they got two inches.
That’s a change from what people are used to.
    Respectfully,
    C.

I guess it was global warming’s fault it snowed in Houston Texas 3 time in 1975 or in 1951 when it snowed and froze parts Galveston Bay, I have the pictures of my mother as a teenager standing on the ice and making snowmen in Texas City Texas back then.

Only evil conservatives do statistical regressions. We liberals only do statistical PROgressions

Are you referring to the same people that said we were over due for another ice age back in the 60’s and 70’s?

Since you are posting about matters of climate, it seems fair to echo the interrogation of Doctor Warbucks regarding a poster’s credentials in this field. I am sure that (along with many others here) he would be very interested in your response. Since he claims no degree in climate studies he, as a former academic now freed of the tyranny of academic standards, can of course judge the merits of climate researchers with that fairness we associate with the highly opinionated.

    .
As an academic (Ed.D. University of Houston; Ph.D., University of Texas), I respect the opinions of my learned academic brothers.
    .
May I inquire as to which university you earned your degree in Climatology?
    .
I would really like to investigate that institution’s faculty member’s qualifications.
    .
Thank you, in advance, for your learned reply (please include references to your published treatises).

While much of North America freezes under record low temperatures, the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing the opposite extreme as heat records are being set in Australia after the hottest year ever.
