Anthony Wieners junk was under his underwear. It’s not that big of a deal.
Can we talk about some actual news??

If only that were the case.
But yeah, I really don’t want to know more.

Weiner and Filner of San Diego can NOT be allowed to lead these cities. Party does not matter.
There are young men and women watching what their neighbors are doing and the young men cannot be encouraged to view these behaviors as acceptable, and women should not be discouraged to participate in politics, or the military, where they might be objectified at best, or horribly abused in worse cases.
It has taken too long for party leaders to speak out against these men and too few Democrats in CA, NY, & DC are calling for these men to step down and step away. I hope Mr. Filner is charged with sexual harassment SOON (today would be nice). Mr. Weiner probably can’t be charged with anything, but if NY Dems elect him to office, they discredit a party that is already seen as impotent and disorganized.
Its almost as if there is an intentional plan to put the most incompetent and thoughtless people into office to lead us over the nearest cliff.
    Disgustedly,
    C.

“When it was Barney Frank the media went out of their way to support him.”

Seeing as how Barney Frank never tweeted his junk, you’ll need to explain your comment better if you want it to be taken seriously.

Hopefully, Filner will be leaving office here in SD soon. If he doesn’t have the smarts to step down on his own, a recall effort is in the works. And it will succeed. He is the only one unable to see this at the moment.

Regardless of political message, I find this caricature to be offensive. I know political cartoonists exaggerate physical features, but this version smacks of anti-Semitism with that enlarged nose. And just on a continuity observation, I wonder if it was intentional how his shoes got bigger between panel 1 and 2. Either point detracts from the political barb the cartoonist is attempting.

Mr Weiner is married to a devout Muslim. Muslim women are NOT ALLOWED to marry Jewish men, so, a fortiori, he cannot be a Jew.

Whatever the large nose is, it CANNOT be an anti-Semitic statement.

(Perhaps it’s an anti-Italian pine statement?)

Are any of you people aware that Muslims are also Semitic people? It’s based on language groups, not religion.

With his track record, why would he be dismayed someone would take a picture below the belt?

Did you miss when Frank and his boyfriend were caught pimping prostitutes?

Spot on…and of course they would rather die than admit their similarities. Might mean they would have to quit fighting, and we can’t have that now, can we?
