Someone needs to tell Gov, Lex Luthor that it doesn’t get any simpler then this!

Loved the cartoon. I hope we can one day find a better way to choose legislators who are more qualified to legislate.
@Ima – as one who has been to too many funerals in the last few years where people died after months and even years of having forgotten who their children and grandchildren are, I found your comment unnecessarily cruel. You have a well known stock of criticisms, oft used, and many of them could have applied here, whether or not I agreed with them, without meanness.
I sincerely hope that you and the ones you love never have to deal with this terrible illness. I have seen men and women weep after leaving a parent who no longer remembers them. Conservative or liberal, it hurts to know your mother or father no longer knows who you are, and in some cases, is scared of you. May you never know that pain.
Respectfully,
C.

Mr. Ima is not a thinking, feeling person. He’s a right-wing conservative; bent on making their philosophy of cruelty and greed as unappealing as possible as a warning to the rest of us.

@ARodney & @ahab,
Don’t make me do this. /groan
Mr. Ima is a thinking feeling person. He is also a right wing conservative bent on promoting the conservative agenda as he sees its. I believe ARodney can easily make an argument for ‘pigeonholing’ many popular Rep activists and Legislators as greedy and “cruel” in their willingness to place the interests of power over people.
I am confident Ahab, like ARodney an often eloquent commentator, is just trying to make Mr. Ima think and would not want to hear of anyone slipping into true dementia, as opposed to the political dementia with which many of us might be inflicted.
Some of the other forums I visit have comments that have revised my opinion of what constitutes a troll.
Mr. Ima isn’t a troll.
Maybe a gnoll, or a hobgoblin, but not a troll.
I’m a centaur, at least there are folks who think I’m a horse’s a… uhmm… back end.
oh- and full of horse poop.
But he, like thee and me, is a person with strong and firmly held opinions. One day, he might even start using links to support those opinions.
Respectfully trying to address thing from the centaur of the aisle

That’s “Pink Slip Rick” who likes to make people unemployed.
Now that Charlie Crist has switched over to the Democratic Party maybe Scott will be unemployed in 2014.

@Respectful Troll
“Mr. Ima is a thinking feeling person.”
Actually he’s a troll whose sole purpose is to get a rise out of people. Remember the old adage that “negative attention is better than no attention at all”? Well that’s the only way to deal with these.
.
As for “election reform” well there’s lots of ways of making it more “fair” and making it more legitimate. Unfortunately neither party likes the ideas because, although it may increase legal voter turnout, it does not guarantee those who show up will vote for them.

Florida has it Right, and we need to wake up and in 2014 we need to Fire all 435 House Members and all 33 Senators up for reelection.
If ‘We the People’ want Term Limits’, its up to us to control how long House Members and Senators serve. it is long past time of ‘We the People’ sending these folks to DC for life, we must limit them to Two Terms. this means once a House Member serves 2 terms, they’re done, and Once a Senator serves 2 terms, they’re.
Oh, once House Members complete there 2 terms, the cannot run for Senator and once a Senator serves their 2 terms they cannot run for a House Seat.

“They need a liberal standing next to them ‘helping’ them to ‘make the right choice’.” I couldn’t agree more. But, your dismissive comment ignores the fact that your base is “slipping into darkness”. That will benefit us all.

Once again, Morin has nailed the issue — we Floridians are fed up with him! As I’ve stated before, I would vote for Crist if he runs for a second term, as long as he stays in Florida and doesn’t go looking for a Senate seat!
