   Where do you get the bizarre idea that liberals are vegetarians or all PETA adherents? I’m about to go have Thanksgiving dinner with a Republican vegetarian. I, on the other hand, am eating turkey.

    I’m still trying to wrap my head around “liberal totalitarianism”. Last time I checked, liberal was the opposite of totalitarianism, You can be a right wing totalitarian, a left wing totalitarian, but liberal totalitarian is an oxymoron.

    But what do I know, I’m a red neck liberal. As for the 12 pound turkeys, It has been a long time since I’ve seen a big turkey in a grocery store. Nothing to do with ‘liberal nazi’s’ just that they don’t sell because we have smaller families. Also most of the birds are only about 8 weeks old when they’re butchered. If you want a bigger bird, you’re going to have to special order it, or go to a farmer, or go out to the woods and shoot it yourself.
