All faiths are inherently good. Its the crazies that muck it up for the rest of us.

Just waiting for the righties to come out and say the only reasonable course of action is to bomb the country in to the stone age.

That’s the problem with scripture. You take out the bits you agree with and ignore the rest. Bit like horoscopes, really …

Yes, religions (usually) have some sort of message of peace, but doesn´t help alot when talking to zealots.

@ Heavy B: I don’t wish to glaze it over as much as I’d like to see it. I would like to see all the embassies vacated, though. Then stand back and watch them eat themselves, which is exactly what will happen whether we’re there or not. There is NO ‘tolerance’ within the Islamic Brotherhood. Their way or the highway of death.

Exactly. How many people of other faiths have “Christians” killed over the centuries?

anyone time how long it took romney toblame this on obama and how this wouldn’t have happened if he were prez?
it is sad, but anyone who thinks libyan ambassador thought his life was safe needs to join crazies. :-) he died trying to further what he believed in and the us believes. then ultimately put himselfi in harms way in an effort to save staff.

This is an act of war. Our supposed friends told the “mob” where the staff was moved to(CBS news).
An abject failure. Clinton should resign.

Changed from the original Hebrew “You shall not murder”.

Once again Romney proves he is not fit to be President of the U.S. He knows nothing about foreign policy and continues to be an embarrassment to our country!

If you pay attention it is, rather than listen to the idiot left who think we should tolerate them and allow them to do it here.

Not nearly as much as the muslim. They passed our tally 500 years ago.

Are we as a country finally fed up with this stuff? Why do we continue to give these countries aid? The US spends billions of bucks every year to assist countries around the world – a lot of it in the middle east, and what do we get. Disrespect and violence. It’s time to take a page from Ron’s little book and let these countries do their own thing what ever that is. We do NOT need their fossil fuels.

Rocky, if you took the time to look into who Mitt really is you would be embarrassed with your comment. But no, you have to take the word of a media that is determined to re elect a man whose policies have failed in the middle east. NO? Not failed? Gee, I guess attacks on our embassies are just expressions of love and acceptance. I suppose burning our flag and our president’s effigy is a sign of how much they really appreciate Obama’s efforts in the area. Yep, such a wizz at foreign policy.

Bring all our people home and fortify the borders. I mean, that’s what Canada has done. And they are the BEST (just ask ’em) LOL

Take deep breaths. Yes, there’s evidence that someone on the inside directed fire at the US staff. The Libyan government, however, has condemned the attack and sworn that they will get the perpetrators. Libyan civilians risked their lives to try to save American embassy employees, including the ambassador. After the attack, Libyans joins rallies condemning the attacks with signs that apologized to the US, that said they are friends of the US, that such attacks do not represent them or Islam. There are crazies – on both sides – and their hatred does not represent either of their faiths (especially as presented in the totality of their scriptures – rather than just proof-texted bits).

Over the centuries Christianity has pretty much given up on killing people of other faiths. Islam, not so much.
