Hmmmm, the emperor king dictator wears sissy pants. Again, President Obama is so much better than anything the republicans put forth at election time. Could we all have done better? Yes, but where is better candidate, and why didn’t this person run?

“This is what happens when you elect an Amateur as prez.”

That’s what you get when you run a candidate who’s even worse than the “Amateur” who won the election.

A considerable indiscretion was Hillary’s Nazi comment. It certainly didn’t help the diplomatic situation.

Perhaps The NATO member Turkey with the backing of NATO should enforce the Treaty agreements signed by Russia to keep the Black sea military free. This could be done by closing the Basra Straights to all military ships going into the Black Sea.

Wow, glad I haven’t had disagreements with some here. Apparently the answer to a disagreement, that is SO much more complicated than your neighbor not returning the tools he borrowed, is skip having any civilized discussion over the pros and cons of not doing what the other wants and just punch them in the face. To HEdoublehockeystick with the consequences that involve people dying.

Huntsman ran and he was intelligent and worldly. Decidedly too intelligent for the GOP base and the conservative(?) backers would have trouble controlling him.”

Actually, Buddy Roemer would have been an even better candidate. In the early primaries, he got more than enough votes to qualify for the Republican ‘debates’ but the Republican party would not let him anywhere near the stage.

Republicans/Fox “news” viewers seem to be really, really yearning for a Cold War.

Well, there’s a lovely fantasy. I’m not sure where the Basra Straits are, but closing the Bosphorus wouldn’t have any effect on the Russian navy based in Crimea. The Montreux Convention puts strict limits on the size & number of military vessels that non-Black sea states can bring through the Straits.

So, as usual, all Turkey & the rest of NATO can do is impede unilateral action by the US.
