Just another liberal rag glorifying a criminal.
    Disgusting.

    Bugger me, we completely agree.
    That’s now twice.
I’m not objecting to the story, it’s important and should be told, but if he had been the hero of the day they couldn’t have made him look more appealing.
    Great role modelling, guys.

A lot of people objecting to the idea that a terrorist can look like the kid next door or anyone else for that matter. To them I say get a clue.

Would it be glamirization of a murderer if the guy on the picture was ugly?

Come on bud, you can tell they did a glamour shot of him. Airbrushed, hair, makeup to look like a young Jim Morrison or other rock “hero”.
If you are clueless to why there is a controversy, then maybe you should read some of the comments from the Boston victims families.

If I had a subscription to rolling stone (no caps on purpose) I’d cancel it.. Not the time or the place for this kind of crap.

The RS cover image was posted by Tsarnaev to his Twitter feed & widely circulated in the media after the attacks. The photo is untouched. The byline reads, “How a Popular, Promising Student, Was Failed by His Family, Fell Into Radical Islam and Became a Monster”.

The story is about how he seemed very normal, well adjusted & Americanized to pretty much everyone who knew him. Unlike his brother, he was outgoing, had many friends & had a real future in the U.S.

The article does not glorify the Tsarnaev’s. It is the best account of what led the brothers to become murderers. As for the folks in Boston… do they think the story should not be told? Would they have felt better if the monster looked like one?

How dare the media use an image that doesn’t make these two young men look like the monsters they are?

Idiots that don’t recognize the article is about what turned him from a good kid, into a MONSTER. Good touch with Leopold and Loeb.

How many copies of ‘Rolling Stone’ are sold in Iran? Are they right next to ‘Playboy’ or do they get their own shelf…. I mean RS is pro-first amendment or are they rooting for its repeal?
