It is one where the environment allows the children to grow up as children in safety and love.

That should be the last option for those kids.

I bet that with the harsh judgement that you are casting upon others you consider yourself a good christian as well. What you are is a flaming hypocrite.

Perhaps they could then grow up in unsafe and hateful conditions? Becoming gang bangers as a result, obtaining guns and eliminating ConserveGov from this existence? That would be poetic justice if nothing else!!

Although things weren’t as idyllic as those portrayed by Norman Rockwell, It was a time when problems in schools consisted of gum chewing in class, running in the halls, and the occasional playground fight. Halloween was TP-ing and window soaping. Things have certainly improved, haven’t they.

In many ways things have gotten at least somewhat worse, but then it should possibly be remembered that the US has more then 100 million more people in it than it did back in the 1950’s or so. More people inevitably leads to more problems. Sorry about that, but that is life!

In the many places that I lived, it applied to most people. (and no, I was not military) with the exception of when I moved to the South. I had a lot of difficulty of adapting to that subculture. (Never did really. Had to fake it)

and in fact and in reality it is. It’s nice to know you would deny them the opportunity. Where there is beauty, you see only ugliness. how sad is must be for you to be a

A Harvard law school student recently testified before my state’s legislature that adopted children of gay parents are in fact loved and protected and turn out just fine. Of course, he only had is own experience as an adopted son of gay parents to go by.

My goodness! Are you saying that we should take the word of a highly-successful person with personal experience over the screams of a bunch of Bible-thumping bigots? How revolutionary!

And a new study indicates that, over the past FORTY years, the income of the bottom 90% of Americans grew…$59 on average. Yes, fifty-nine dollars.
The top 10% of incomes grew an average of $116,071 over the same period.
So, yes, things have changed a lot.

Because having heterosexual parents is such a guarantee of being brought up in a happy home these days? Look around you, man! Quit worrying about a few people who only want their right to “the pursuit of happiness.”

Same sex marriage doesn’t take away from anyone’s happiness. Stagnant wages & lack of jobs does.
