If the House stays with the GOP and the Senate with the Dems the President (whoever) will have an easy time because no law will appear on his desk. I wonder how long a country can sustain such a situation and at what point riots will break out that will remind everybody of Rodney Kings famous phrase: “can’t we just all get along”.

Furthermore, and even more worrying for me, is that neither Mitt Romney nor President Obama have a plan to heal the political divide in the country. Fox News had to close their comment section, this is how bad it has gotten! And there is no candidate on the horizon for 2016 who could accomplish that feat.

So, are we – the world – supposed to stand idly by while the U.S. devolves into a third world nation and finally a civil-war torn failed state? U.S. citizens, get your act together (literally) to avoid this hell-scape of a possible future!
Everyone knows Mitt was born in Kenya, is a communist when he’s not a Nazi, wants to destroy the government, wants to take away the money you earn and redistribute it to his welfare friends and illegal aliens, is a muslim jihadist and wants to destroy the military. I am glad that no Conservatives spout rhetoric like this.
One minor disagreement, Morty. Although Rove has been around longer, since he was a Nixon staffer, I think Newt Gingrich has injected more pure poison into the discourse. - He sent out periodical memos instructing Republicans how to call Democrats the most vile names. It was like offering a triple deck burger and fries to a 350 pounder who hadn’t eaten since lunch. - Consumed immediately and can I have some more?

We observe and speculate how our self-interests will be affected by their possible change in foreign policies, we can snigger & roll our eyes at their candidates’ missteps – just as they could do to ours if they cared enough. They don’t – but yes, we stand idly by.
MORTY: You have already offered that you get most of your US Political News from MSNBC, so I wouldn’t worry about it. They’re pretty much wrong about everything.
And the reason FOX had to shut down the comment section was that Lefties, at the command of their Masters at Media Matters, used such vitriolic language that it would make Samuel L. Jackson blush.
