Almost all of the latest British deaths in Afghanistan have been green-on-blue.

The real sad situation is the lying and self serving actions of government applies to all of them. I truly don’t see any real difference in the two parties. You can spend days giving examples of either current party lying, abusing their offices, contriving these “crises” to keep the people off balance.

As soon as we leave Afghanistan will revert to it’s traditions of warring among different factions as it has for centuries. And Americans would have died for nothing. Thanks Bush, you Idiot!

Danziger is pretty mainstream as far as political cartoonists go.

The “lamestream” media has been reporting on the lack of confidence & trust between the Obama administration & Karzai for years. If you looked at actual news sources, you would know this, but then your conservative echo chamber thinking might be challenged.

Karzai is yet another one of the Bush administration’s “gifts that keep on giving.”

You usually call O a liar. But then, you think everyone left of you is a liar, when in fact the liars are to your right (a tight space, I’ll admit!)

Simple solution. Have all the troops pack up and come home right now.

We do not owe them anything. We’ve wasted too much money there. They don’t want us there. Their problems have been ongoing for centuries.

osama bin laden is dead. Any legitimate reason to stay is over.

All you have to do is go to the NY Times and do search for “green on blue,” and pages of articles come up:

The “lame stream media” is the name calling the conservatives revert when the facts aren’t on their side.

“The ‘lamestream’ media has been reporting on the lack of confidence & trust between the Obama administration & Karzai for years”

Indeed they have. And it’s pretty clear that the ‘Obama surge’ has been a failure. 13,000+ wounded, 1500 dead – many of these in ‘green on blue’ attacks from our ‘Afghan allies’. Hundreds of billions of dollars spent, with more to come for future vet care and interest. Soaring military suicide rate.

For all this, only one of the Afghan National Army’s 23 brigades is able to operate independently without military support from the US or NATO. Unknown billions squandered on corruption and fraud.

Our military personnel have done an incredible job in an impossible scenario, but it’s time to bring them home. Something like 70% of the American public would enthusiastically support this. It’s a no-brainer for the opposition party to call for this. Instant popularity.

Unfortunately, the Republicans appear to have no brains. After a year of campaigning, 20 debates, continuous stream of Fox-Limbaugh . . . apparently all the Republicans can come up with is a vague interest in letting war go on and on . . .
