Jane's World is best described as a smart ensemble comedy, blending the classic comic strip style of Lynn Johnston with the racier writing style of shows like Sex and the City and Friends. Jane is the lesbian heir to the hard-luck Charlie Brown, somehow always winding up as the punch line in her own comic.

@Night-Gaunt49 (yesterday)
.
Exactly – we are on a track just like a train and as we act, react and think we switch tracks. These tracks are infinite and it is WE who move, not “time”.

Actually, Kirk and Spock had to stop Dr. McCoy from saving the peacenik gal who would have delayed America’s entrance into WWII. The less said about the script, the better (Harlan Ellison is still ticked).

@wecatsgocomics
Harlan Ellison is indeed ticked, mostly because his ego can’t stand having anything he does questioned or changed, but the final script is considered a classic, and one of the best Star Trek episodes ever.

Ellison had drug use on the Enterprise which isn’t what it was about.

Now he can accept that he died and get on with his life.

Actually, Bones doesn’t stop Capt Kirk as he doesn’t fully understand what is happening at that point. He, in fact, has to be stopped from saving Joan as well.

@Gweedo Murray
I picked this up from the internet regarding your “Screen name”:
.
“Gweedo is someone typically from New jersey, an Italian, who commonly uses way too much hair gel and has homosexual tenancies. "
.
Now I DON’T believe that for a minute.

Shaking my head in dismay… okay, STAR TREK was the 1st TV series where I was able to remember the stories by TITLE. But episode #? That’s idiotic. And which #? Network broadcast order, or production order, which actually makes more sense? And how can Jane remember this stuff but get the STORY wrong?
If you wanna really blow your mind, trying watching “THE CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER” and “DEMON WITH A GLASS HAND” back-to-back. (For that matter, toss in “CRAZY AS A SOUP SANDWICH” for a real Ellison triple-bill. That’s my all-time favorite TWILIGHT ZONE story.)

If they go back to the present, and Uncle Otis is still alive, wouldn’t Jane’s VW coffee stand still be belong and be driven by Uncle Otis??? So much for that grand business plan.
