    And the universe self-corrects.
    But…. which one is left?

It seems to be Future-Otis … cos he seems to recognise Jane…

    but if it’s really Past-Otis…
is he ever in for a shock!

Orrr…. maybe he has to stay there, where he belongs…. in 1967…
and Jane’s van will be thus exorcised…

So Jane and Dorothy can go back to fighting over their business competition..
    and maybe ….well…
    you know where fights lead….
    in fiction anyway.

I don’t think that’s what they really meant by getting smashed. It does seem to close the cycle, though.

UNLESS this means that Otis survives, meaning Jane never gets the van from her sister because Otis still owns it. Thus, no coffee van. Going into the past changing the future is supposed to be a no-no, no?

And thus Otis steps on the elevator to the afterlife.

So if that was the original then the other will become a ghost again.

So maybe this is how Uncle Otis died in the first place.

    @Urbane Gorilla

As I understand “Time”: everything that has happened, will happen, could happen; exists at the same moment. Our experience of “time” is just a name for what we experience.
    .
Since (in my mind) everything happens at once, we switch from one so called time-line to another depending on what we decide, do or think of doing. The past is just as unfixed as the present and future and we wander through it all as if it were a fluid.
    .
It makes sense to me and I undeerstand what I’m saying here. Take a while to ponder it, but don’t worry too much if you don’t get it.

Except everything doesn’t happen at once. We see a linear track where our consciousness impinges on slices of “now” as we go. For us Reaction follows Action.
