At this point there seems to be no solution to the equation.

Licensing gun owners in New Zealand helps a lot, without confiscating, or buying back, weapons. Licensing guns and owners, just like cars and drivers, makes perfect sense. At least then when you get an “unlicensed driver” you have a place to start with criminal prosecution to get them “off the street”. You also have a means of keeping them from buying a “car” legally as well, and restrict dealer’s “empathy” to violate the law.

Chicago, a city with the Strictest Gun Laws in the Nation has the highest Rate of Gun Violence in the Nation. Chicago’s Mayor explained this in this manner: "Yes Chicago does have he Strictest Gun Laws of any City in the Nation and the reason why Chicago has he Highest Gun Violence Rate of any City in the Nation is because Guns are flowing into Chicago from neighboring States and Cities.

This is proof Positive Tighter Gun Laws will not reduce Gun Violence. Joe Biden also admitted to this too.

400 and counting n Chicago, a city with the Tightest Gun Laws in the Nation and also the City with the Highest Rate of Gun Violence in the Nation. Using the logic of those who want to restrict or ban or right to own guns, Chicago should have a Gun Violence Rate of Zero or near Zero.

Guns are used over 2800 times a day in America to defend against crimes.

Murder numbers and murder rates are at over 40 year lows.

“Guns are used over 2800 times a day in America to defend against crimes.”

Any statistics from the countries that don’t have gun envy problems?

It’s a summation, the limit as time goes to infinity and everyone that was ever born eventually dies.

Oh, well; nothing’s going to work. Might as well give up.

We’ll just get used to it. Pretty soon murders in the street will become so commonplace we won’t even notice any more.

Hey Dr. C: that’s what it’s like in Chicago on a daily basis. They are already in the running for the highest murder rate in the country and we’re only one month into the year.

That proves they need tighter controls in neighboring states.

but a harder equation is how many people have been saved because they had a gun.
