Republican have bitterly criticized Obama’s proposals, with McConnell calling it almost comical.
-
The Republican proposal is that Obama identify spending cuts in the name of compromise. Republicans will not take responsibility for identifying spending cuts themselves.

Those spending cuts were listed in the three budgets the House sent to the Senate where nothing was done. Harry Reid killed all opportunities.

Had O won, he would have gotten 2/3rds of the prize. Either way the government is the big winner. Big win and NO risk at all.

If he had won he might have gotten good part of what he wants to take away from his favorite whipping boys the rich. But you know that would that or the powerball would have run the gov. what a day or three?

It is comical to think that raising taxes to get 1.6 trillion over ten years will magically fix a 16 trillion debt. This guy has spent that much in one year. His proposal offers increased spending. No fiscal responsibility there.

38% (tax) of $550M (win) is $209M straight to the IRS. Not much in todays world of billions and trillions, but I for one could live with it…

The Redudicans wanted to replace Obama. They should replace the Speaker and his cronies. They’re reason NOTHING was done in the last Congress.

No, Harry Reid is the reason nothing was done. Every single time the House proposed something, Reid refused to even discuss it. You need to get your head out of your rear end and see what is going on.

If Obama had won then maybe he could have paid for all of his vacations and golf outings.
