    Good Point. Older people tend to do that — so many memories to sift through. Present things constantly remind them of past things.

    I can sit for a long time in a doctor’s office without reading magazines ofrwatching television. I pick things out from my surroundings and let my consciousness flow.

    He was so caught up in past details that he was almost incapable of fresh thought.

    One of the things that struck me, besides the increadible resliance of the human soul, from the book Unbreakable, was the time they spend lost at sea.
    It reminded me of the stories of monks and zen masters just sitting in silence.
    It’s is something we do too little of today, Just sit and be quiet. And listen
