Good Point. Older people tend to do that — so many memories to sift through. Present things constantly remind them of past things.

One of the things that struck me, besides the increadible resliance of the human soul, from the book Unbreakable, was the time they spend lost at sea.
It reminded me of the stories of monks and zen masters just sitting in silence.
