She’ll have to stay on the doorstep – no way can she get through that narrow door.

Nothing like a visit from the ole mother-in-law to make one want to burn the Welcome Mat.

She would never had seen the mat anyway. She probably has not seen her feet in years. My grandma (Rest her soul) was like that size. She had mirrors on the floor to make sure her shoes matched. She wore loafers. How would she tie shoes otherwise. One day she leaned over to give me a hug. I was 6 and got rolled on. I just remember while going under thinking she is sooo soft.
