Obama never said it, but the ‘12 campaign kept slipping in the fact that, thanks entire to Obama, GM was alive and Osama was dead.

(Of course, those who know the facts know that, since Obama was born in Hawaii, which is a part of Kenya, the US military never recognised him as Commander in Chief, so he REALLY said, ’Don’t hurt my BFF Osama,’ but the military ignored him since it no longer has a true civilian commander, and killed Osama, no thanks to Obama.

(And please don’t blame me for the fact that Obama was born in Hawaii, or for the fact that the US military is no longer under civilian control: I got it all from the wise people who comment here who know lots of stuff that I don’t.)

yeah, I think Joe Biden is the one that yelled that little ditty.

And, even though Obama may have never uttered the words, he accepted the accolade and may have used Biden to get that message out.

It was called Biden’s “bumper sticker” slogan and so displaying the facts as we see them now as a bumper sticker is appropriate.

    Perception is reality

Getting off the reservation a little there Henry? The reason the US troubled asset bailouts are never discussed in public is because the USA made about ten billion overall on them when the stock was sold into a rising market. http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2013/12/09/u-s-sells-remaining-stake-in-gm/?php=true&_type=blogs&r=0

Guess I wasn’t supposed to know that one, eh? WORKING government is a no no for Pubbies, right?

And, of course, we didn’t manage any companies, but HEY, HEY, make stuff up, that’s the republican way!

    • As a common shareholder, the government will only vote on core governance issues, including the selection of a company’s board of directors and major corporate events or transactions. While protecting taxpayer resources, the government intends to be extremely disciplined as to how it intends to use even these limited rights.
