The computer problems, as Prof Krugman wrote back in November (too far back for me to go back for the link) are NOT important, and on this, Prof Krugman is right. Prof Krugman wrote that, when the Republican senators tried to use the ACA computer, it crashed, but not until it had gotten their phone number, and they were promptly called back and enrolled using the telephone, dead trees, and snailmail.

What matters is whether the ACA provides all Americans with affordable care. If it has to be done with dead trees and snailmail, it’s still a huge success.

And, again, every Obamabot says the ACA does, in fact, provide affordable care, since that’s its name. The Tea types swear that the ACA consists of nothing but death panels, $5,000 per month fines with jail if you can’t pay, and all the employers in the US forced to lay off their entire workforces.

Facts seem to be in very short supply.

The ACA does provide affordable care. The trick being played by opponents is setting up phony “victims” who claim to be facing charges that could not exist under the new law and letting them be interviewed by clueless cub reporters who can’t see through the deception. They also claim to have lost their policies when, in fact, their policies either would have been discontinued anyway (a lot of individual policies are modified annually, since they are basically for suckers anyway) or wouldn’t have covered the things they claim they need coverage for.

Well, Michael, I think that they are getting only 25% (or there about) of the healthy they need signing up, that 50% of the 18 to 34 year olds don’t need to sign up at all (due to their being allowed per Obama’s inclusion of a rule allowing them to stay on their parent’s plan until 26), that three times the expected number of people are going on medicare, and that the policies themselves really are much worse than many previous ones that the whole thing will crash and burn disasterously.

No that is where they go to cover up what they read in the NY paper after the fact. Everyone knows Obama don’t know a thing until he reads it in a paper. And when he finds out he gets real mad about it, like he was to be in charge of it or something, and pledges to fix what ever it is that he broke.

Why is Michelle Obama asking for $10 donations to protect Obamacare?

Why is Michelle Obama asking for $10 donations to protect Obamacare?"For the same reason Sebilos was shaking down insurance companies to help promote Obamacare.

but but but buuush and those evil R that will not let Obama have his way? Obama is such the great leader and reaches across and just knows how to work with the other side, it could never be his fualt. And when he reads in the newspaper about all the lies and failures he gets real mad becuase he knew nothing of it, and has vowed to roll up his sleaves and make it work, regardless of those who stand in his way, that he could not work with and it is they who obstruct the plans he knew nothing about failing.
    Got it you evil republicans!

Indeed. Krugman is one of those educated, intelligent people who has spent his whole life studying and learning and is therefore an ignorant and stupid idiot.

Exactly how are the Republicans obstructing Obamacare’s implementation?
I mean they didn’t create the abomination of a website it uses.
They didn’t keep people from signing up.
They didn’t push back deadlines and implementation dates.
They didn’t make illegal changes to it as it was implemented.
    .
Exactly how did they obstruct it?
