Count up the Bush Executive Orders. Obama’s numbers are no where close.
And if the Obama Man buys a new Mustang, hey, all will be okay in the Land of Payne.

I think I liked President Reagan’s Star Wars program better than Obama’s.

“Count up the Bush Executive Orders. Obama’s numbers are no where close.”

Of course not! Bush made executive orders for 8 years and Obama has been able to issue them for only 5 years. But (isn’t there always?), their rate of issuing executive orders is not significantly different. Bush averaged 3.03 orders per month (8 years, 291 total). Obama has averaged 2.78 orders per month (5 years, 167 total).

It must be noted that, regardless of President Obama’s rhetoric, he will need to be careful when issuing those orders. Those orders can only be issued within , and not contrary to, existing law. He cannot make new laws.

Signing statements are mostly opinions on law. The use of signing statements by a President to circumvent a Constitutionally valid law could get him in deep doo-doo.

The legislative branch eliminated itself when it stopped voting on legislation. Obama knows that SOMEONE has to govern, and the GOP is completely incapable.

Well, ARod, get rid of Harry Reid and maybe there will be some movement. The Congressional record CLEARLY shows that the Senate and Harry Reid was and is the roadblock.

Everything about ObamaCare, from the lies that got it pushed through to the illegal modifications to the law by executive fiat to the fact that he had to exempt certain constituencies.

Who was it who said “I will not negotiate.” Oh……right……that was The Obama himself.

    Executive orders since 1900:
    William McKinley 185
    Theodore Roosevelt1,081
    William Howard Taft 724
    Woodrow Wilson 1,803
    Warren G. Harding 522
    Calvin Coolidge 1,203
    Herbert Hoover 968
    Franklin D. Roosevelt3,522
    Harry S. Truman 907
    Dwight D. Eisenhower 484
    John F. Kennedy 214
    Lyndon B. Johnson 325
    Richard Nixon 346
    Gerald R. Ford 169
    Jimmy Carter 320
    Ronald Reagan 381
    George H.W. Bush 166
    Bill Clinton 364
    George W. Bush 291
Barack Obama 167 (as of 01/14/14)
Obviously, looking at just the numbers doesn’t tell you much. The real question is what those orders were and how they impacted citizenry.

Actually, Obama is a secret Republican. They hate him because he’s a moderate Republican.

Just because you don’t like the legislation the House passed, voted on, or considered doesn’t change they were doing things.
The Senate did nothing. The one thing Reid did is idiotically make it easier to get Presidential appointments through that body by a simple majority. Watch him and the Democrats howl bloody hell when they become the minority and that rule is turned against them.
Democrats in Masschuttes did the same thing with appointments by the governor requiring a popular vote instead of just the governor making interm ones when someone left office mid-term. They did that to keep Romney from making appointments.
Then a Democrat got elected governor and Ted Kennedy died in office.
That resulted in Scott Brown’s election rather than the Democrat governor appointing a Democrat….
    The Left is short-sighted.

Silly legislative branch…. they made themselves expendable by reducing their productivity. Any boss would fire them for such paultry output.
Maybe they should try doing the job they were elected for instead of focusing on obstructionist fun (at voter expense).
