    Payne missed a trick here:

This is for a possibly disappointed lonecat. I know I was disappointed. :(

I had to look at the comments just to see how long it took for someone to mention global warming! Not long………

Where did you find that? Is it real? I wouldn’t trust it myself.

Jeremy on Top Gear drove a Reliant Robin and it kept turning over.

Both political conventions had hurricanes. I guess the pseudo scientists make something of that, too.
Meanwhile the Honda Grand Prix is about to get rained on.
    80 degrees there.

    Aha, Rock knows them! Cool!
Yup, lonecat. they’re real. In the slapstick Mr. Bean series, with Rowan Atkinson, Mr. Bean drives a Mini Leyland 1000 and his arch nemesis drives a Robin Reliant. Inevitably, the Robin is tipped over in all their encounters.
In the comedy “Fools & Horses”, our heroes drive about in a yellow Robin.
(I mention these comedies as you’re in Canada and possibly more likely to know of them than if you were in the USA)

They finally stopped stopped producing them in 2002, according to the wiki entry.

I never heard of those series.
Top Gear is on BBC America reruns. If you get a chance to see their “Best of” shows they are pretty funny.

Rather silly but sad that Henry can not comment on a cold day in March without an argument. olfart thanks for feeding robins, it would not be spring without them.

OmQ R, loved it when the “Top Gear” guys used the highly unstable Robin to build their “space vehicle”. It didn’t fly much better than they drove.

Just a note on impacts from oil production over the years. The city of Long Beach, California sank 29 feet as a result of oil and water extraction

You’re wrong. We have robins go through Florida every Spring & Fall, when the Florida Holly (that’s a tree, btw)’s berries are ripe. It takes a flock seconds to strip a tree of all the berries.

Dude think, use your head, if the global sea levels had risen 20.1 inches in 110 years as you said, New York, LA, New Orleans, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Boston would have nearly three feet of water on top of them. Plus back wash of the Mississippi would flood the lower Mid-West.
