My sister worked up north building the Alaska oil pipeline. The work camps were men, more so than the Army. . Some circumstances that just does not matter. Do children care? Only if they are taught to care.
If the troops are for it AND women will be subject to any future draft, I’m actually fine with it. Also I don’t want any special(lower) standards for women (physical or others) that would put our troops in danger.

That is a great story. I think that anti-abortionists want absolute power to push their religion on everyone else. We also need a constant supply of youths for pedophile priests and football coaches to molest.
ONe of my best friends, female, was killed in a “IED resistant” armored vehicle on her second Iraq deployment as a medic, all the others in the rig were infantry. Anyone who thinks our women haven’t been in combat units is an idiot. (They just haven’t been getting credit for it with regard to promotion ladders.)
