    That happens to me whenever I eat out with my family. Just as I take a big bite of food someone will ask me a question. And that’s how my answer usually sounds.

    Me thinks the bridle is making it hard for Marigold to speak.

    Is it a golden bridle?

    All I know from riding lessons is the bit of the bridle is metal and rests in the horse’s mouth where they have no teeth, the bridle helps steer the horse, and it prevents them from talking.

    I wonder if the ☼ Shield of Boringness ☼ will work on the kids at the party and make them see Marigold as nothing special.

    Marigold may need to speak to cast the Shield of Boringness

    Nobody looks very awestruck. I’d say the Shield is up.

    @Starman Stormtrooper

    Bits can be made of steel alloys, with or without copper plating, some may be rubber or plastic as well. They come in a variety of shapes and forms with varing degrees of leverage and severity. They can be very mild to painfully severe. My horse uses a hackamore which is a bitless bridle. It acts on the bridge of the nose instead of the mouth, leaving the horse free to graze (or talk if they were able). My horse considers trail rides to be grazing expeditions :)

    If I understand the SHIELD correctly, that’s how it works. “Unicorn? Big deal…”
