    “Get your game on” is not only improper grammar, it doesn’t make sense. A game isn’t something you put on or climb onto – it’s something you either watch or participate in. Cable TV will be the death of rational language…

    “Get your game on”, isn’t from cable. It’s a pop/rap/hip hop origin phrase that has been mainstreamed and altered from “Get your Freak on” to any verbification of the noun that is to be emphasized. Like “Get your Laugh on” for comics.
