    If the time period is accurate, he should be in it. So the new one should take place 30 years or so after events depicted in Episode VI.

    30 years? It’s been THAT long?!?!?!

    But … Star Wars … is … important! You can’t treat it as if it were just … a movie?

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    Oh come, now, Bruno! Didn’t you know Star Wars wasn’t real? Now Star Trek on the other hand……………

    I wish lucas had kept his original promise to his fans of a new SW movie every 3 years. Now it will be PC Wars, the Great Bore.

    He made plenty doing voice work. More people know him as the Joker than Luke.

    old Mark would now be old enough to play Obi Wan Kenobi as he appeared in the ’75 movie, without makeup

    @blunebottle

    Is there a rule that states that if you like either Star Wars or Star Trek, you must hate the other? Because, frankly, I love both… am I weird? Or a heritic?

    This from someone who’s avatar is Robert Stack as Eliot Ness?

    @Trev12

    It’s perfectly okay to love both. You are a heretic only if you think Star Wars is better than Star Trek. JJ Abrams versions do not count.

    Sorry,but it is Robert Stack. That is a publicity photo of him when he filmed the original “The Untouchables” series 1959-1963.
