Hmm. She’d have better luck saving the Hill of Tara.

Just like Granny in the Beverly Hillbillies … except that Granny always insisted that the South won!
(Wonder how she explains why the national flag isn’t the Stars and Bars… but I read somewhere the South didn’t really have a single flag…)

See any big budget take on most major historical events/ wars/ diasters/ sinking ships/ austrian families who have a thing for curtain couture

The “Stars and Bars” is the state flag and looks much like the stars and stripes except it had wide red and white bars instead of narrow stripes of the union flag. It could be confused in the heat of battle so the South used the “Crossed Bars” as a battle flag.

Puts him up there with Best Supporting Actress Oscar winner Hattie McDaniel, who was legally uninvited to the original’s big premiere in Atlanta because she was black.

@Bruno Zeigerts
They did have a final flag they used. started as the Stars and Bars a simplified version of the US flag then it changed a few times.

The closest surviving version of the CSA flag is the state flag of Georgia. The other war flag is based on the Kentucky CSA battle flag.

Stick with it, Dean. Her changes might just make the four hour snooze-a-thon worth watching.

I have to see that again. One of the funniest scenes ever. And I LOVED how they got the giggles. As an actor, it has to be DAMN funny for you to rehearse and still break character.
