Two lasses seem be on Nick’s naughty list at this moment.

On my screen, the right half of the comic (and of the comments) is cut off. I’m so disappointed!

As a non-Christian, will someone explain to me why “Santa” would need milk and cookies set aside by 3 billion children?

@truecanadianliberal
Not 3 billion, it is only in North America, and particularly in the USA…so maybe 100 million at the most. : – )
I never heard that Canadian children leave out cookies for Santa…

truecanadianliberal: 1. Despite the assumed title, “Santa” is not Christian, but Mammonist. 2. You should mention that “liberal” in Canada is conservative in most of the world, and socialist in the US. (A true Canadian Socialist [NDP] would be Tommy Douglas, and thousands are alive today because of him.)

@1JennyJenkins
Yes, as a Canadian child, I left out cookies and milk for Santa…….
As a Christian, I can’t explain why we have Santa at all……has nothing to do with Christ.

@hippogriff
Hippogriff, Federal Liberal is Centerist, Conservative is Right Wing, NDP and Green are left wing….except in BC, where Liberal is extreme right wing, NDP is Centerist, Conservative is moribund and Green is Tree-hugging environmentalist.

@blunebottle
AT THIS MOMENT (which is not the same as past times in history), federal Liberals are centre-right, Conservatives are right but not quite Rethuglican, and NDPQ and Greens are on the left in most issues. None defend the rights of English Canadians. So none will get my vote.
In BC I am only aware of two provincial parties and you have them nailed. Not healthy but true.
Hippogrif, you are surprisingly (and delightfully) politically astute about Canada. Congrats. ANd yes, I have enormous respect for Tommy Douglas (and the NDP until about 3-4 years ago). I disagree that a liberal up here is anything but a liberal everywhere else, except for the federal party which is far removed from being liberal.Is that what you mean? I don’t intend to misinterpret.
So it’s only American children that leave milk and cookies out? Is Santa thin in other parts of the world?
Much thanks to JennyJenkins and blunebottle. I am pleased that we can be different and still exchange knowledge and ideas.

Heart looks like a younger, miniature version of Mrs. Angelini in the last panel!
