    I remember the trucks but everyone went inside when they came by.

    That would explain why Gray’s skull is so thin.

    I remember doing that exact thing. Ours were in the back of a WW2 jeep. It’s a wonder I’m not dead or cancer ridden already.

    I remember the mosquito abatement trucks too. Our mothers would hear it coming and call us inside.

    Practically every ill in society is attributable to the legislative agenda of the do-gooders. The DDT ban – leading to the malaria deaths of millions of humans around the world, but mostly in Africa – is such a well-intended stupidity.

    DDT was the only thing that would reliably kill bedbugs, and now they’re back.

    Except for one simple, inconvenient fact:

    DDT to kill malarial mosquitoes was never banned.

    Fact check, please. You are so eager to slam “environmentalists” and “liberals” that you are repeating a complete lie. DDT is still used as vector control, just not for agricultural purposes…and in some of the countries where it is no longer used for vector control, it is not because of any ban, but because it was overused and the mosquitoes evolved a resistance to it.

    @calimesajim

    Not only is this false, you make it obvious that you have never bothered to fact check your beliefs. God forbid you should have to give up a favorite feeling of superiority?
