    And one of those iPhone or whatever gadgets came with AVATAR. Tiny screen for a movie which had come out on a huge screen in digital 3D, multispeaker sound….

    I’m just waiting for some filmmaker to make a movie specifically designed for those idiots who want to watch movies on a 1" square screen!

    “Avatar” was the last movie I saw in a theater.
    70MM, 3-D, IMAX, Monster sound system…the way it was MADE to be seen!

    Watching a movie on your phone makes as much sense as reading Cliff notes of classic literature.

    How could anyone enjoy watching a movie on their phone?

    @Night-Gaunt49

    Those are the same nitwits you see standing in line in front of the Crapple Store for hours in the morning before it opens on the day the newest “Must-Have” whatever goes on sale, replacing the last “Must-Have” whatever they bought just 6 months earlier, which is now obsolete.
    I live in a remote area in Kentucky that has NO cell coverage, and it’s hilarious to watch visitors actually go through withdrawal when they realize that their precious phones are nothing more then really overpriced paperweights here!

    That’s how I felt watching Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines on TV. Were was the wide expanse of sky filled with those replica pre WW-I aircraft actually flying.

    I have to say that when I saw Lawrence of Arabia on the big screen, it was a completely different movie. Couldn’t imagine watching it on my phone.
