No lie: I once had someone tell me, with extreme sincerity, that no book could be written if there hadn’t been a movie made first. His proof? A book that was published from stills and storylines from the movie “Rocky.” Granted, that movie came first. But he extrapolated from that to every book following every movie. Sad but true.
