    yes we do have them in OZ,I picked one up at Taronga once,they’re little but they’re squirrels

    Squirrels have moved into our city, and they are crowding out the natural species. They’re a nuisance, but they’re just so cute.


    Until they chew on a transformer atop a power pole…

    Years ago someone wrote a parody of nature guides, titled something like “How to Identify Road-Kill”. For example, is it more than ten times longer than it is wide? Then it was a snake. Feathers? A bird. Black and white fur and it stinks more than usual? A skunk.


    I saw a TV report once on how those big burly invasive American gray squirrels are beating up on the dainty little native British red squirrels. USA! USA! USA!
