This looks like an Andy Griffith episode where Barney is suppose to solo in the church choir but can’t carry a note and unbeknown to him, a background singer substitutes the singing as Barney mouths it in silence.

Bet the background singer was Gomer. I couldn’t believe it, the first time I heard Jim Nabors sing.

Wish these two would jump off the GW bridge. I’m tired of their trivial B.S. .Why not get back to the original Gasoline Alley, just across the bridge??

I like Joel & Rufus, but you can get too much of a good thing. Let ’em rest awhile.

The end of the epiosde. What a sustained note from the chorus! Andy saves the day, of course!

No, it wasn’t JIm Nabors. It was an extra on the show that was featured in the choir.

Maybe Scancarelli can devote more time to these two in a spin off strip and turn G.A. over to someone else.

@PRFC – This is polite conversation here. If you want to see griping check out Alley Oop or better yet, Funky Winkerbean over on AZ Central.

Pianos have white keys and black keys. Sadly, I sing on the cracks.

I’m enjoying it, that’s why I show up every day. I love a malaprop.
