There’s a lot of tongues stuck to 0’s pole that wish they weren’t right now… the political payback will be epic.

Evidence is there will be a considerable thaw by mid summer at the latest. The elephant’s going to end up with that pole stuck up his tookus.

It’s the US citizen who got the pole up the tookas with this unread, unreviewed, unworkable monstrosity of a law the Dems foisted on us.

“Elect the Republicans so they can try another 83 times to overturn Obamacare.” -———————————————————————————-
Actually, if the Dems lose a few Senate seats(which they will), then the Republicans will have no problem getting rid of the worst bill ever written.

Folks, it works in Massachusetts; it has BEEN working in Massachusetts since 2006; and unless it is actively blocked for political reasons, it will work in every state in the Union.

It does seem to be working well in MA, but the plan there is much different than Ocare. For starters the MA bill is only 70 pages long compared to 2070 (and counting) for the AHC. The MA system would not work for every state, it was tailored specifically for Massachusett’s economy, demographics, etc. Probably the biggest difference is that the MA bill had bipartisan support and was popular with the voters. AHC needs to go back to the drawing board.

Thank you for bringing up those points. I’m afraid it will never get back to the drawing board stage though. Too many people are now too emotional about it, one way or the other. The best we could do would be to pass amendments to it. Whether for good or bad, we’re probably stuck with this turd. It’s a shame because the intent of it is a good one.

Re: Obamacare, “It will work in every state in the Union.” Not if they can’t get their Own ACA websites to work… ;)

As much as I wish you were right, unfortunately what’s going to happen is that when not enough younger people are stupid enough to sign up for Ocare, the Dems will enact a federal tax that forces people to sign up for Ocare.
So yeah, for everybody it’ll eventually be “bend over and spread ’em for Ocare!”

" the Dems will enact a federal tax that forces people to sign up for Ocare."
    .
It’s already here. The penalties for not signing up increase every year.
The interesting thing is a recent Rasmussen pole that shows decreasing support for the ACA, which is interesting since most policies that were going to be cancelled (if you like your policy you can keep it… NOT) have been and the website is sorta running smoothly. THAT is what’s interesting.
