Well, the millions of dollars unnecessarily wasted on the Hawaiian vacation and outrageously ostentatious ‘birthday party’ are indeed making much of the country focus on income inequality, and rightfully so.

Now let’s await the paid liberal shill responses (‘Bush did it!’ – no, he didn’t – ‘They all do it!’ – none have spent like this pretend president – ’Let’s redistribute wealth’ – no, please go to a communist country – ’Bush’s fault!’ – sorry, after these many years all but the paid and brainwashed know that the current president owns the miserable state of the country).

Berry and Michelle believe they are the king and queen of America. They live the high life of parties with celebrities and expensive vacations while not actually helping their “peasants”.

Oh, please. I think Michele Obama is allowed one birthday party per year. As for income distribution — it’s been going on on since 1980, with all of the distribution going upwards to the 1%. I’d settle for a brief slow-down. Raise the minimum wage to where it would be if it had kept up with inflation, and close tax loopholes so that Wall Street tycoons pay the same tax rate as people who work and build things.

You would think with so many Democrats in office that’s exactly what they would be doing, but not quite. They are like republicans but with higher tax rates for the working class.

She is entitled to her birthday she is not entitled to throw a party on the government dime.

Income inequality? Does that even exist? Is it a problem?

Remember the new uniforms flap over Nixon’s “royal guards”? Nancy’s wardrobe? How much DID it cost Americans to cut that brush in Texas (While Texas oil billionaires, and those in Denver, got sweet crude deals on federal oil leases?)

Frankly, what indulgences are spent at the White House, are nothing compared to what those folks providing for those “private donations” to such events garner as “rewards”- and yes, it’s been BOTH parties, for a long time. A review of the Harding administration, with comparison to Reagan’s and "W"’s would be appropriate howeveer.

Actually, my questions were directed toward Republican/Fox “news” viewers. They seem to think income inequality is in the same category as global warming — something made up by Obama in order to take money away from them.

I don’t mind if some people are rich. I do mind when a lot of people are poor.

Income equality was implemented in a big way by uncle ronnie raygun. He called it trickle down. Bush 1 called it voodoo economics. Bush 2 and cheney have been very successful in helping the rich to transfer wealth from the poor and middle class to the rich. President Obama identifies it, and is working to fix it. Any wonder why the 1%‘s minions don’t like our President, not to mention race. How much better can the rich rich live with a few million or billion more in their pockets?

And how do you deal with income inequality?
    .
Democrats: The wealthy help to fund campaigns that will put decent people in power to assist the less fortunate.
    .
Republicans: The wealthy help to fund campaigns that will put fatcat lackeys in power to maintain their control over workers and keep their taxes low.
