   They are not children upon conception. Neither legally, medically nor biblically. And if you want a biblical solution to forcibly ending a pregnancy (ie., against the mother’s wishes), that would be a fine.

   Look, varvel, we males do not get pregnant, we are the cause of pregnancy, we have nothing to say about what a woman decides to do about her pregnancy. Only women are qualified and entitled to decide. There are only 3 people on the supreme court entitled to decide: Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. Only the women in the senate, the house and the state legislatures can decide. Only women judges in any lower court can decide. We males have nothing to say. We should stay silently on the sidelines watching and listening.

   What about all those poor babies that didn’t get born because they were never conceived in the first place? What a waste of potential talent! Everyone should have unprotected sex all the time, every woman should be pregnant as often as possible, so that all those the potential babies can be born. And it’s never too early — teenagers, do your duty, have sex, get pregnant, let’s get those potential babies born! Every unfertilized egg is a waste of human potential!!

    As an adoptive parent, let me say adoption in USA is difficult and costly. There are public policies that could make adoption relatively easier easier and relatively more attractive to adoptive parents and birth mothers.

    Let’s put this into biological perspective. Of all fertilized eggs, about 40% do not implant correctly in the uterus and are expelled during the woman’s next menstrual cycle. Another 20% are miscarried, fatally malformed or still-born. So that’s 60% of all ‘souls’ aborted by God’s poor design of the human reproductive system. This is in industrialized nations. The percentages are far worse in developing nations.

    How you gonna enforce any woman missing a period has got to ‘carry’ to term, Mr. Varvel? You moving into the Doctor’s office? You becoming a nurse mid-wife? I’ll bet. Nobody ‘likes’ abortions. Nobody likes dictatorships or lack of birth control education either — people like you standing back picking and choosing other people’s lives for ‘em. Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness doesn’t START at menopause. Get yer nose out of other people’s underwear.
