That is not Goofy, it’s the states being bankrupt by OTaxCare.

One way to fight an idea is to frame it as ‘Goofy’. When you look at the election maps, and the great majority of the states are ‘red’, but we get a ‘blue’ president, a lot of disenfranchised areas are going to say ENOUGH already, we’re outa’ here…

Florida is first on the list of states that get more Federal dollars than they pay in and Texas is 9th. These people are crazier than the tea party.

Do they still pledge allegiance to the American Flag?
Does the word “indivisible” no longer mean anything?

But you libs are the ones who’ve been screaming for years that the Electoral College should be scrapped. Now you love it? I’m not saying scrap it, by the way.

Since the popular vote margin has been the mantra of libs for a long time, 51%/48% should prohibit you from calling the decision clear. If you’re going to pick one set of data to support your reasoning, at least try a little consistency. Never mind; you’re a lib.

On another note, did Barr/Sheehan really get 53k votes?

The nation elects the president and he also won the popular vote. You have been watching way too much Fox News.

“Do they still pledge allegiance to the American Flag?
Does the word “indivisible” no longer mean anything?”

Considering that the pledge was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy (an interesting fellow), one might argue that the founders felt the states were more important than the federal government. The feds were not granted all power, and the states were supposed to have the powers not specifically given to the feds. Senators were elected by state governments, etc. One might also argue that since the states entered into the federation voluntarily, they could also leave at will. Once you join a club, you don’t have to be a member forever. The Supreme Court ruled on that after the Civil War, whether for good or ill.

    a) No one recited the pledge until about 100 years ago, so I guess they weren’t True Americans by your definition.

    b) Maybe the founders didn’t expect the federation to be indivisible.

From the Federalist Papers: “That it [the Constitution] will be a federal and not a national act, as these terms are understood by the objectors; the act of the people, as forming so many independent States, not as forming one aggregate nation, is obvious…” An independent state can do what it wants, no?

The first African American president set up Eliza in the White House. I mean, of course, W. J. Clinton.

Anyone could send e-mail to the president. Innocuous e-mails got a reply: ‘I am worried about the deficit.’ ‘President Clinton is also worried about THE DEFICIT and is doing all he can.’

Dangerous e-mails were forwarded to the Secret Service.

Now our second African American President has expanded the Eliza e-mail to an e-BBS, where ID-ten-Ts can see what other ID-ten-Ts have posted, and 0.3% have said they want to secede.

I assume the names and home addresses of everyone who wants to secede have been forwarded to the appropriate department. DHS? NHS? OAS? Whatever.

I sympathize with the citizens now voting for their state to withdraw from a federal government that operates in opposition to the US Constitution more and more as both dem and republican regimes move further and further to the LEFT.

None of this nation’s citizens signed up for a Marxist government……not our Founders and not by each succeeding generation. Our original charter was designed for Moral citizens, who honored God and repected the Biblical standards as foundation for our civil law system. We are far from that concept, today, and falling farther each election.
Some “rich” may be cashing in and moving out….but most of us cannot afford to do that….I can only pray for God to protect me and my family, no matter how wicked our nation becomes.
