What’s the over/under for the number of wildfires that will be started by fireworks on the 4th of July?

You know, it’s a real problem. I like the way you Americans don’t care a… bit… about anything, but it’s just all fun and games until the remains of some people are dragged from their burned down houses… Please stay save, get totally drunk instead :-)

Here in Arizona, fireworks were recently legalized. However, I believe you can’t ever use them in national forests.

Years ago, an Apartment Fire was started in My Metro-County due to residents setting off fireworks. Happens all the time. Many Counties in My State have No Burn Laws in effect including a ban on all fireworks due to it being so dry in our State

There IS a place for fireworks, but more and more of the country will look like Colorado Springs before morons get the message.

No fireworks in the city limits. They are very strict about it. Especially during extended droughts.

But if they followed the law then “the man,” “the nanny state,” or “big Brother” would be oppressing them and that would be unconstitutional don’t ya know.

Yeah, I know I took it to the extreme, but logical conclusion.

Colorado Springs is the legacy of tree huggers. don’t let them clear out the underbrush or cut trees close to houses. But them liberals have everyones best interest at heart, right? Everyone but human beings that is.
