Jesus said to his disciples, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” President Obama echoed that sentiment when he told a follower, “if you love me, you’ve got to help me pass this bill!” Perhaps he really believes he is the next messiah…

Perhaps he just believes the bill is in the best interest of our country.

Can you imagine Bush saying, “If you love me, you’ll pass my tax cuts”, “If you love me, you’ll authroize the Iraq War”, “If you love me, you’ll confirm my judicial nominees”? Yes, libs, imagine your reaction if that happened and wallow in your hypocrisy.

this Prez makes Carter look somewhat better…when comparing “misery index” data….but IMO each day Obama looks more Pathetic!

Jesus is God in flesh and has the jurisdiction to tell humans to obey His Commandments, but Jesus ASKED, He did not “Command”………Obama (or any other USA leader) has no right to “command” American citizens…..that is why the ObamaCare is in trouble….the MANDATE command…and unfortunately the latest “job bill” (there IS NO BILL) uses more MANDATE COMMANDS….

Obama wouldn’t have a problem if he would stop helping the Republicans and ConservaDems to aid the million & billionaires who need no help. While crapping on the rest of us.

Let’s see, they keep demanding he provide a bill, then before he even says what it is, Boehner’s out there telling people not to listen to him, and watch football instead. Let’s indeed go to Soylent green, and use Boehner’s hide for a football- it IS the right color and species!

I couldn’t help to be reminded of Sally Fields’ Oscar acceptance speech, but she was “Gidget” and the “Flying nun”, not the Leader of the free world…….. ..

Really? Then that means that I am at poverty level. The billionaires aren’t. What is their reason? They want to put us all at the poverty line. Being disabled I can’t work anyway. Not that looking for a piss poor job in this manufactured Depression wouldn’t be fun. Because it wouldn’t.

Leechhood is it? Then do you want me to die? Killing people indirectly, no need for death camps and round ups, is working. Too bad no one is following the deaths including suicides.

Kind of reminds me of Hugo Chavez as he proclaims himself president for life. The people love me, he says. Like they love the energy rationing I bet. The problem is Obama really thinks the “little people” do love him and he thinks his plan will just work if you keep throwing money at it. There’s billions of bucks in the first stimulus package still unspent. And he wants more money to do the same stuff that the first stimulus was to address. Are you liberals so taken with the man that you can not see the forest for the trees?

^Tigger, as do most of “that right wing persuasion”, you ignore the fact that I’ve repeatedly stated I don’t care much for Pelosi or Reid and their long-term actions, and inaction on issues. I’ve repeatedly noted the “Bush tax cuts” never should have occurred, or been re-authorized. I’ve pointed out we never should have had a problem with leaving Iraq, because we never should have allowed “W” to launch the invasion. Don’t approve of Obama CONTINUING TO GIVE THE SAMEBREAKS” TO BUSINESS that REAGAN, Bush41, Clinton, and Bush 43 handed out to the wealthiest individuals, and NOTPEOPLE” corporations for the last 25 years.

Calling today’s Democratic Party “liberal”, is as inaccurate as tying to call Teapublcans “Republicans”. BOTH parties are WAY to the “right” of “pre-Reagan” days, picking the change date at some time after Nixon, is difficult to pin down to satisfy the overly simplistic, and intellectually challenged, in America’s “body politic” today that finds a stop sign an intellectual challenge. Not everything can be isolated to that red and white, and a single word.

Teddy Roosevelt “busted the trusts” for good cause. Post Depression rules to halt the abuses that CAUSED the Depression were intelligent decisions. REVERSING all those laws and regulations under Reagan, and since, have put us into the trouble we’re in economically, PERIOD!

That neither part is willing to “bite the bullet” and do what is actually needed to head toward, but still not establish a “balanced” budget for some time is a degree of cowardice from those cringing at the thought of how powerful corporate interests are in controlling the mindset of an idiot “public”. My outrage at giving “Big Business” huge tax breaks has hardly been hidden here, nor dissatisfaction with ANY “politician” from EITHER PARTY unwilling to serve the American PEOPLE before their “economic masters” in industry, or gated communities.

I don’t care if they pass his bill, as long as they adhere to this current rule:

The PAYGO system was reestablished as a standing rule of the House of Representatives (Clause 10 of Rule XXI) on January 4, 2007 by the Democrat-controlled 110th Congress:121314

It shall not be in order to consider any bill, joint resolution, amendment, or conference report if the provisions of such measure affecting direct spending and revenues have the net effect of increasing the deficit or reducing the surplus for either the period comprising the current fiscal year and the five fiscal years beginning with the fiscal year that ends in the following calendar year or the period comprising the current fiscal year and the ten fiscal years beginning with the fiscal year that ends in the following calendar year.15

^Actually, Bill Clinton was more likely to be “looking for love”(in all the wrong places), and Obama’s personality is much more inclined toward finding resolution and agreement, rather than self-promotion.(despite what our right-wing “shrinks” might think based on their blank data base.)

Now, “W” actually was in a way, looking for love. Cheney on the other hand- could not care less, about what other people think, or for that matter, people.
