    Hang in their GOP!!!!

Some of us think you are heros.

I blame Obama and Reid for this shutdown. Their unwillingness to compromise shows a distinct misunderstanding of how the Government is supposed to work.

The Majority don’t get their way just because they have more votes. There are real limits to the power of government in this country and the Repulicans are exercising their right to point out those limits.

How dare they do the job they were elected to do. I mean listening to their constituents. Don’t they know that with EVERY poll that Obamacare is seen as the fraud it is and they were elected to stop it. They told Obama and Reid how far they were willing to go to stop this illegal bill that they read and voted NO.
Then they do something like turn around and compromise. Fund everything BUT Obamacare! DELAY Obamacare so we can talk about what a FAILURE it is. In how it was told to be 3 times LESS than what it is today. How it is NOT ready for prime time. How it will be a failure if the Young who get a raw deal in it do not sign up. How 30 million will STILL be uninsured. Those that will now be uninsured will be the working poor! How money is being spent to promote this Failure. And so on.
But Obama does have a win. He shut down the parks. He illegally shut down properties that have leases. He tried to shut down private that only share a parking lot. Obama spends money to HURT the American people in order to make his point.

    @Harleyquinn
    Illegal bill???"
I still do not get if Obamacare is a penalty or a tax? Or maybe it is a Tax unless you do not comply then it is a Penalty? But then if it is a tax then it should have started in the house where they deal with the purse. If it did not start in the house then it is illegal bill that the Democrats did not read and passed without 1 Republican vote. Now this thing is back in the house and the house can look at the finances. Guess what? It is now a 3 Trillion bust of a bill. The house has every right to question the legality of this thing. They did their job. They passed a budget that included EVERYTHING except what they wish to delay in order to fix! of course this thing is such a big FAIL the only way to fix it is to defund it before it bankrupts 16% of our GDP. But something need to be worked out

Stay put! Health care is a luxury, not a right. If others do not want to contribute to sending money my way through our monetary-market system then “f” ’em.

“There is (sic) already arguments over if illegal aliens should be covered.”

    From the PPACA:

    (3) ACCESS LIMITED TO LAWFUL RESIDENTS.—If an individual is not, or is not reasonably expected to be for the entire period for which enrollment is sought, a citizen or national of the United States or an alien lawfully present in the United States, the individual shall not be treated as a qualified individual and may not be covered under a qualified health plan in the individual market that is offered through an Exchange.

    Definitions:

shall shall[shal; unstressed shuhl] Show IPA
    3. (in laws, directives, etc.) must; is or are obliged to: The meetings of the council shall be public.

    may [mey]
1.(used to express possibility): It may rain.

The part “….and may not be covered….” may seem like an innocuous phrase but (to me) is one of those flaws in the PPACA. Was the word “may” instead of “shall” used to make it possible for illegal aliens to be covered under some circumstances or a common mistake by the author of this section of the law in using “may” instead of “shall”? This is not nitpicking. In law, there is a huge difference between “may” and “shall”.

I am expressing neither agreement nor opposition to illegal alien coverage in this post. I am showing an example of a mess that the PPACA may have created if illegal alien advocacy groups get ahold of and run with the use of “may” instead of “shall” in our courts.

Mr. Boehnor is, according to many sources, the only person preventing a vote on the shut down. He states adamantly that no republican will support ending the shut down, but if this is so, why does he not permit a vote so Americans can see who is being heroic, as Mephistopheles suggests above.
Is it because if he is right voters will know who voted to keep the shutdown in place, and then start looking for someone to replace that person in 2014? Or is it because he doesn’t want the shutdown to end until he gets another 90% of what he wants like he did in 2010? Whatever the case, Mr. Boehnor is the only one preventing the vote and while this makes him a hero to some, it clearly identifies him as an obstructionist and perhaps, even a coward. Because, what I really think he fears, is many more than 17 Republicans are moderate enough to vote to end the shutdown. And if that happen, his legacy will be cemented as the worst Speaker in US history. We need heroes. There are few clearly visible in Washington DC or State Gov’ts in our nation.
    Respectfully,
    C.

And Boehner is now suppressing a Congressional vote on the debt ceiling unless he gets more cuts. Same ol’ same-o – this is how Republicans “negotiate”, even as the deficit is being rapidly reduced.
