Guns aren’t necessary to kill people. Try working on the idiot pulling the trigger instead of continually trying the same failed idea of gun control.
If you understand the concept of personal responsibility instead of a knee jerk, feel good, reactionary process (libs don’t think), you’d be a lot better off.

    “…….Guns aren’t necessary to kill people……”
    .
Then why don’t we arm our military with hammers?

The military confronts massive force with massive force. In War rifles, of all types, are not the big killers of opposing forces……..Let dtroutma tell you. He know everything about everything.

A dialog needs to be opened. Having the NRA scream No No No, your’e violating my 2nd amendment rights and they’re coming take all guns away, it is difficult to open a dialog. It is time for some sensible controls on large clips, semi-auto weapons and a ban on assault weapons that very few people need.

If guns don’t kill people, why not send soldiers to battle without guns?

    Oh, great idea.

Now, how do you propose we get people to take personal responsibility?

We had a homicide committed with a barbecue fork when two guys got in a fight. I’d like to see someone kill 20 kids and six adults, or a crowded movie theater full of people, or just someone thirty yards away on their front porch with a barbecue fork.

^ Guy went nuts with a knife in Vancouver last night, stabbed 7 people. No deaths. Hate to think what would have happened if he had a gun.

Ran out, did you? So you yourself have nothing but knee-jerk, feel good, reactionary……

The gun lobby is going to make a LOT of people think about repealing the 2nd Amendment.

Under Obama’s suggested rules — correct me if I’m wrong — somebody like our friend Bruce — who is so worried that law-abiding citizens won’t be able to own guns — our friend Bruce will still be able to buy a rifle for hunting, he will still be able to buy a handgun for target practice, or to keep next to his bed to protect himself from home-invasions — so what will he not be able to do? Well, overthrow the government, I guess.

He won’t be able to buy an AR15 to wrap his blankie around and curl up to at night.

^^ I wonder if Bruce or any other conservative will ever confess to the REAL reason why they insist on having guns: Helter Skelter.

What the H does dialog have to do with anything… it’s an inalienable right, that shall not be infringed.

Seems like a reading of the constitution is in order. Maybe a little history too.
