"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Teresa – Thx for the Ken Curtis related shout to The Searchers (and its theme song). One of John Ford’s best.
It was one thing for The Searchers to be named AFI’s Greatest Western of All Time, but now to be mentioned on Frog Blog en passant? (words fail)

Seems to me you could probably blame the little blue birdie for the late posting of today’s FA. If you were into assigning blame, which I confess, I have a weakness for, from time to time. Mostly I blame myself, since I’m, you know, Catholic. (Albeit a lapsed one.)

Nothing like a little Catholic guilt to start the day off right ! Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa !

When there’s a bluebird
sitting on your windowsill
and the sun shines bright
the whole day through.
Don’t forget boy
Look over your shoulder.
There is always someone
Coming after you.

Password extortion, heh?
Do you know what we do to little mouthy bluebirds around here?
No? Let’s just say you don’t want to, either…. So maybe you’ll just forget the passwords, yes? (I often do, myself.)

I was just checking out FB and when I got to the bottom a thought occurred to me. All of Vlad’s violence stats happened in the first few weeks of Jan. 2012, so I was wondering about a couple of things:
1. Will Vlad be going on another rampage to celebrate the new year?
2. Should Teresa maybe post some warnings?

Alright little Blue Bird, now you are throwing me on a loop.. You were not available this morning, however here you are this early evening..
Anyhow, if there may be any such passwords of mine that you claim to know about, then why don’t we both keep those quiet by keeping them between you and I o.k..?
