"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

When this has happened in the past, as far as I can determine they never show up. At least I’ve not found them.

Didn’t Chuckles do both the Dating Game and the Newlywed Game? I know he did Newlyweds and was responsible for many early divorces.

The ballerina’s feet look horrible. That’s real dedication.
In Chinese foot binding little girls had no choice. It had to be started when they were little. Unbelieveably cruel, but their parents thought they were doing a good thing for their daughters so they would find a fine husband.

There are some technical inaccuracies in the story, STUFFED HELICOPTER CAT SPARKS OUTRAGE.
The story states that the artist attached a propeller to each paw and placed “a remote control engine” inside the cat’s stomach.
This is completely false. First of all, it implies that the cat’s body is the airframe. That is not the case. Simply do a Google image search for the term “quadrotor,” and you’ll see that this type of device has an X-shaped airframe, over which the artist merely stretched the cat’s skin.
Secondly, this type of aircraft does not use one central motor to drive its four propellers. Look closely and you’ll see that there are four small electric motors, one at each corner, with a propeller sitting directly on top of it.
What would be located in the general area of the cat’s stomach would be the battery pack, the receiving unit, and the microprocessor and circuit board which control how fast each propeller spins.

Re the Hitler Election Poster. “SA” is “Sturmabteilungen,” the “Storm Uni.t” Better known as the Brown Shirts and stormtroopers. They were a wing of the Nazi party, set up by Ernst Roehm in 1921, and were a virtual army used by the Nazis to stage riots and intimidate their opposition. By 1934 they numbered about two million men, which made Roehm a serious rival to Hitler for leadership of the party (hence his purge, known as the Night of the Long Knives, in which Roehm and several thousand SA members were executed.) Afterward the SA was absorbed into the German army.
