I loved Tripoli, haven’t played it in decades

My all time favorite board game is Risk, my son and I invented a game using two boards that went on so long we called it a draw

I don’t like board games. But then, I don’t like computer games, either. And I’m not a non-computer guy. I’ve had, and used computer since 1984. That’s a “magic year” in computers. There was ONE desktop publishing program on the market: Pagemaker.

All these board games help you think in a different way. I tried Scrabble on my computer, and was amazed that it actually cheated! Also, came up with words that were so obscure. Not as much fun as playing against other people.

MONOPOLY rules require you to turn in four houses to get a hotel. You are not supposed to be able to just pay the cash total. I always build up to four houses, skip the hotel. That way other players have trouble getting enough houses to get hotels.

I have never lost when I do this.
